There is no doubt that the artistic style of Bob Cradic is unique,,,,,, in a good way.
His paintings can be strong and forceful or quiet and subdued, depending on the story being told.  Bob believes that a "truly memorable painting" must capture you with a bit of mystery, a little excitement, or spur your imagination.  He does this with strong colors and distinctive light and shadow.  His work can currently be seen at Del Mar Art Center, Del Mar, CA.  He is also a member of Sargent Art Group and Coastal Artists.  

Bob started painting in 2001 simply because he felt a strong urge to buy a canvas and, "paint something!"  He is mostly self taught and he tries to paint every day, unless he is travelling.  He is a graduate of Samford University, Birmingham, AL, and holds a Master's degree in Education from UCLA, was a college teacher and basketball coach for 11 years.  He loves to cook, travels extensively and is not a bad 8-ball player.  He is married to his high school sweetheart, the former Deanna Mussell, Poplar Bluff, Mo.  They have two children; a son who lives in Florida and a daughter who resides in San Diego, CA.
